ARA Numbers & Stats 2021 – Animal Rescue Algarve

We ended the year 2020 with 154 animals in the shelter (118 dogs and 36 cats).

Summarizing:

285 adopted in 2021 (229 dogs + 55 cats + 1 rabbit)

+ 154 in the shelter (118 dogs + 36 cats)

We helped 439 animals in 2021

So far 956 animals have been rescued by ARA!

TOTAL ARA ADOPTIONS: 802 Animals

DOGS: 648 | CATS: 151 | OTHERS: 3

2020 Adoptions

Total: 226 dogs + 64 cats + 1 rabbit + 1 pig = 292 adoptions

2019 Adoptions

Total: 169 dogs + 30 cats = 199 adoptions

2018 Adoptions

Total: 24 dogs + 2 cats = 26 adoptions
