The shops are a valuable and successful contribution to the Association's income. They are located in Troto, on the nac. 125 opposite the Herança dos Sabores pastry shop, in Loulé opposite the Lidl, under the veterinary hospital and in Almancil, in a very well-located place very close to Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, where we get most of the items we sell in the shop and which are given to us as donations.

As well as contributing these items, many residents also volunteer to work in the shop on a part-time or full-time basis, so everything sold in these shops is profit that goes back into ARA's favour, as the only expenses are the rent and some utilities.

Apart from the merchandise contribution from the residents of these resorts many also volunteer to work in the shops on either half-day or full day sessions. So essentially the value of everything we sell becomes pure contribution to ARA as the only costs are basically rent and utilities.
