A Night to Remember: Fundraising Dinner at Sandbanks for Animal Rescue Algarve
The recent fundraising dinner at Sandbanks Beach Restaurant in Vale do Lobo was nothing short of extraordinary! Bringing together over 100 generous supporters, the evening was filled with laughter, goodwill, and a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable animals in the Algarve.
The night was a resounding success, raising more than €25,000 to support the essential work of Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA). Guests enjoyed a fabulous 3-course meal, live music, and a lively auction featuring 12 incredible prizes, while over 60 raffle items were graciously donated by local businesses to further aid the cause.
A huge thank-you goes out to everyone who participated, donated, and attended the event. The unwavering support from our community is what allows ARA to continue providing care and rehabilitation for the many animals in need. The evening was also graced by the presence of the dedicated ARA team, who work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of countless dogs and cats in their state-of-the-art shelter in Cabanita, Loulé.
ARA’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals subjected to neglect and abuse is made possible by its supporters’ generosity and its volunteers’ dedication. Whether through financial contributions or time spent walking dogs and caring for cats, each effort helps build a brighter future for these animals.
